Data We Collect
We collect: (a) Account data: name, email address, username, profile photo; (b) Portfolio data: holdings, trade history, watchlists, and alert settings synced to our secure servers; (c) Usage data: features accessed, screens viewed, and interaction patterns; (d) Device data: device type, OS version, and push notification tokens; (e) Communications: support messages, feedback, and in-app reports you send us.
How We Use Your Data
We process your data to provide and personalise the Service; authenticate your account and maintain security; deliver price alerts, security notifications, and service communications; generate anonymised analytics to improve our AI models; respond to support requests; and fulfil our legal obligations. Our lawful bases are contract performance, legitimate interests, and legal compliance.
AI & Automated Processing
Our AI prediction models are trained on anonymised, aggregated market activity data — not on individual user data. No personal financial decisions are made automatically on your behalf. You retain the right to request human review of any AI output that materially affects you.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, for hosting and storage); (b) analytics partners (anonymised, aggregated data only); (c) law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law; (d) a successor entity in the event of a business acquisition, with prior notification to you.
International Data Transfers
Your data is stored on servers in the United States (AWS us-east-1 region). These transfers are safeguarded by standard contractual clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
Data Security
We protect your data using AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, bcrypt-hashed passwords, two-factor authentication support, and role-based access controls. We conduct regular security audits. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure and you use the Service at your own risk.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure (right to be forgotten); restrict or object to processing; data portability (export in machine-readable format); and lodge a complaint with the UK ICO at ico.org.uk. To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. On account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised usage data used for AI model training may be retained for up to 36 months. Financial records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by applicable law.
Policy Updates & Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when required by changes in law or our practices. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before taking effect.
