Baltimore sues Kalshi and Polymarket for unlicensed sports betting

What happened

The city joins a growing wave of more than 20 lawsuits from states and local governments trying to shut down prediction markets they say are operating as illegal sportsbooks. Baltimore is suing prediction market platforms Kalshi and Polymarket, alleging both are offering sports.
